Golf Association of Ontario

The GAO is affiliated with the Royal Canadian Golf Association. It provides member services, by carrying out several national programs & working to grow the game of Golf. The GAO also works with a number of other Golf Associations, including the Ontario Golf Course Superintendents, the Club Managers Association, the Ontario PGA & the Ontario Chapters of the National Golf Course Owners Association.

 

Ontario Professional Golfers Association

The Ontario PGA was established in 1927 as a non-profit association comprised of over 1000 golf professionals from across Ontario. Their mandate is to promote and advance the game of golf, by serving the needs of both its membership and the general golf public through professional and junior golf development programs and competitive high-calibre events.

Ontario Golf Superintendants' Association

The OGSA is an Ontario Association made up of golf course superintendents, assistant superintendents, golf course owners, suppliers, and architects. The OGSA was formed in 1924 to benefit the superintendent in Ontario. Its mandate is to provide relevant information on the needs and problems facing the superintendent and to elevate the status of the golf profession to benefit all its members.

Ontario Golf Hall of Fame

The Ontario Golf Hall of Fame was officially launched in 2000 by the Ontario Ladies Golf Association and the Ontario Golf Association. It's goal is to help perpetuate the memory and acknowledge the contributions and accomplishments made by Ontarians to the game of golf.

Ontario Visually Impaired Golfers

OVIG came into existance to bring blind and visually impaired people in Ontario together to learn and play golf. They believe that golf is an activity & sport in which visually impaired & blind people can fully participate, and thus realize social, physical and psychological benefits. OVIG is a charitable organization that organizes and subsidizes specialized instruction and opportunities to play.
